Brand-new 70mm Print of Tati's Playtime to Screen in
New York City
A pristine, fully restored 70mm print of Jacques Tati's 1967 masterpiece Playtime will screen at New York City's Walter Reade Theater from December 29 to January 5. Click here for details. Upcoming 35mm screenings of Playtime include those at the North Carolina Museum of Art, in Raleigh, on January 7; the Metro Cinema Society, in Edmonton, Alberta, from January 21 to 24; the Winnipeg Film Group, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from February 4 to 6; and the Oak Street Cinema in Minneapolis, from February 11 to 17.
크라이테리언 홈페이지에서 봤습니다.
70mm 프린트로 복원된 자크 타티의 <플레이타임>이 'Walter Reade Theater'에서 개봉된다고 하네요.
그리고 그 외에 있는 나머지 극장들에선 35mm 프린트로 개봉한다고 합니다.
복원이 다 되어서 재개봉을 했으니, 이제 조금 있으면 크라이테리언에서 <플레이타임> DVD가 나오겠군요.
DVD라기 보단 영화쪽 정보에 가까워서 영화이야기 란에 올립니다.

그런데 크라이테리언은 절판되면 다시 안 찍지 않던가요?

타 영화사와 DVD를 내기로 일정 기간동안 계약을 맺은 영화의 사용기한이 만료되었을 때 뿐인 것으로 압니다. |
